Tartan Tenant
This sunshine is deceiving, whilst we revel in the rays and show off our latest pedi, we can't help but look to next season. AW'13 is set to be a good'un - posh punk is top of the list. Moving away from last seasons spikes and studs to dark toned tartan prints. Refer to the tradition Celtic print but in pops of Autumnal red and neon accents. These BaubleBar earrings are perfect for day and night, paired with block heels you'll be doing the highland fling!

Those lacy days
Lace, sometimes racy, other times doily territory
but yet it maintains its place as that perennially chic trend. This River
Island top is perfect, a hint of Christopher Kane neon paired with an exquisite
Amber Fever necklace adds a darker element to an otherwise simple look. The
layered black chords and hanging amber chunks catch the eye just as much as a frilly
lingerie set, summer is supposed to hot. Right?!

Far & wide
This summer, traveler chic has already set
off in its wedged espadrilles to the most picturesque destinations. The nomadic
influences were evident in collections from Isabel Marant with hand embroidery
and tassels galore. Ease yourself in with this quirky H&M Trend necklace
and Peruvian style pom pom top. Alpaca not included!

A rose by any other name...
If Shakespeare quoted roses, then florals
are surely the philosophical print of all. Flower power is here to stay and
this MSGM top with a 60s influence as seen at Louis Vuitton SS/13 is blooming
all over. Paired with a fitted baby pink blazer, skinny jeans of course and
nude heels, all you need now are some petals delicately laid at your feet!

Mash it up
Optical prints, tribal embellishment,
snakeskin and neon – No I’m not naming the season’s hottest trends but
combining them into one eye catching outfit. Prints project a warning sign, one
that should sometimes be overlooked. The key to mixing prints is to maintain
the same colour palette. Here, the warm oranges and yellows complement each
other seamlessly whilst fluorescent yellow contrasts against the faux, muted animal
skin. Who doesn't love a bit of pick’n’mix!

Somwhere, beyond the sea...
Warming colours are always favorable, as is
our new bff the peplum. A simple way to
work metallics into your wardrobe is through shoes. This block heeled, peep toe
pair is perfect. A neutral colour and shiny accents tone down the pops of
colour from the printed skirt whilst a
tan clutch heats things up.

Chain Mail
Silver, rose-gold or bronze, any metal goes with these necklaces. For the warmer weather, lighter colours work well. A basic tee and embellished clutch balance out the heaviness of the chains while the metallic toe caps reflect the high shine detail.

Sand Man
Silky, slinky and actually quite sophisticated, when worn with the right pieces pyjama pants can rival skinny jeans. As seen at Pucci, Salvatore Ferragamo and The Row, think printed and loose fitting paired with sky-high heels and a sheer blouse it works perfectly for the office. Toughen up the look with this chunky, layered chain, spike bug necklace from ASOS Premium for quirky cool.

Blossom Hill
With the Spring weather finally here, pastels can come out to play. The printed trouser will see you though to next season so invest now. Pair them with a sheer apricot blouse and Zara's orange dual-toned heels for brighter days.

That's Mint!!!
Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton all went mad for mint this season. The soft shade is one of the most wearable for all skin tones and is ideal for Spring. Taking ladylike from prim to modern with this sweet shade is easy. Wear as a more toned down statement colour, this bag works perfectly. Light-wash denim and chunky black boots are a good contrast to keep this look feeling fresh.

For once scales are our friend! The aquatic trend can be taken as literally as you want. Dip your toe in first with colours from azure blue to seaweed green or if you’re feeling brave, try full on scales like those on this Peter Pilotto pencil skirt. Blooming marvelous
Spring is well and truly here, and so are the flowers. A growing trend you might say! Popping up at Mary Katrantzou and Christopher Kane, their blooming everywhere, literally. Make this mirror image, print skirt the focal point and team with a simple white tank and nude strappy sandals. Pick out one colour and match it to your bag. Hot pink works here and is going to be the key colour to be seen in, in the coming months.

Into the wild...
Contrast sleeves are the trend du jour. A new take on block colours in a sense, this top combines wine red and stark black to give a relaxed vibe. Inject some interest with this vintage looking necklace and snakeskin satchel. Ankle boots and skinny jeans are a no brainer of course.

Bleak contrast.
H&M collaborations are always something special; Versace sold out within half an hour…even Donatella herself got elbowed out the way! For Spring/Summer ’12 quirky label, Marni decided to have a go. The collection was full of prints from batik to abstract with hints of optical illusion. Fear not wall flowers, seen on the runway this season was contrasting sleeves, this part wool jumper-part leather masterpiece is spot on. Paired with distressed skinny jeans –a staple, layered chain necklaces and a flash of cobalt from these chic sandals, this outfit makes just as a big a statement as the H&M collections powerful prints.
